Ex~i Flow Measurement announces an update and extension to the gas measurement MID type approval for the SFC3000 Flow computer in accordance with Directive 2004/22/EC.
The extension allows the use in conjunction with suitably approved transmitters to operate at ambient temperatures from -25C to +55C. It also allows the use in conjunction with suitably approved Ultrasonic Gas meters to read all meter data through serial communication interfaces.
Ex~i Flow Measurement announces a new type approval for the SFC3000. This approval is to OIML R117 Edition 2007 (E) "Dynamic measuring systems for liquids other than water".

Hawthorn Road, Littlehampton was home to BS Instruments Ltd., for over 20 years and for the last 2 years home to Ex~i Flow Measurement Ltd. During the last 25 years many successful measurement products have been created in the Hawthorn road building, including the BS Instruments Volume Corrector series 900, 510, 444, 555 and 999 together with the Flow Computer series 782, 793 and 2000 all sold under the Instromet badge.
Many of these products are still in daily use around the world in spite of the fact that some are nearly 25 years old. Ex~i Flow Measurement continues this process with the SFC 3000 flow Computer and other new innovations, whilst providing service and support for the BS Instruments / Instromet products that are still in use. From our new base in Ford business park, we will continue to provide that support to new and existing customers.

October 2008, Ex~i Flow Measurement is pleased to announce the release of its flagship product the SFC3000 flow computer. During 2007/8 the product has undergone extensive development, customer evaluation and testing and formal metrological and CE approval, prior to its release.

Ex~i Flow Measurement is pleased to announce an OEM arrangement has been reached with Krohne Oil & Gas of Breda, Netherlands. Under this arrangement Krohne will market an Ex~i designed flow computer under the Krohne brand called the SUMMIT 8800 flow computer.
Ex~i Flow Measurement announces a number of international sales of the Model SFC 3000 flow computer through Global Gas Solutions of Belgium. The flow computers have been used in the custom built systems that GGS manufacture.
An extension to the existing product support and service agreement between Ex~i Flow Measurement Ltd. and Elster-Instromet has been agreed to continue into 2010. Ex~i will continue to provide support for the original BS Instruments Ltd range of electronic flow computers and volume correctors, including the current FC2000 and older products such as the 793 and 782 series.
