When you purchase an SFC3000 flow computer here is what you will find in the box:
- The SFC3000 flow computer with option boards and backup battery installed
- Certificate of Quality that has followed the flow computer through production
- Print out of production database records, showing options and firmware installed
- Flow computer power connectors
- IO Connector or pre-made cable
- USB cable
- Front panel USB dust cover
- M2.5 x 10mm Cap head screws for rack mounting
- USB memory stick
The SFC3000 flow computer is delivered with option boards and backup battery installed. During installation into a cabinet or commissioning the rear panel will need to be removed to remove the insulating tab from the auxiliary board for the backup battery to work and any links on the option boards to be set. Refer to the manual supplied on the USB memory stick for details of the factory defaults.
The Certificate of Quality and production database print out are a record of the SFC3000’s journey through production, and show a record of serial numbers of parts and versions of software installed. Unless specified at the time of ordering, this flow computer will be supplied with a standard version of firmware.
The SFC3000 is delivered with 2 or 3 different types of connector. The main 24V input connector is a 3 way screw clamp, and the 24V auxiliary output connector is a 6 way spring clamp style connector, both are supplied with every flow computer.
Each of the optional I/O boards will come with either a 36 way spring clamp style connector or a pre-made cable, depending on what was selected at the ordering stage.
Two styles of cable are available, free ended with crimp termination or 36 way to 37 way D type for use with DIN rail mountable break out modules. Note, due to the size of the cable and modules, these will be delivered in a separate box. Details of modules and cables can be found here.
Every SFC3000 flow computer comes with a free copy of the windows configuration software installer for the firmware installed in the unit, help files and manuals on a USB memory stick. You can also download manuals, software and brochures via the contact page.
