The SFC3000 flow computer was conceived to specifically meet the needs of the global liquid hydrocarbon and gas measurement markets. The vision for the SFC3000 was that it would make a positive contribution to the management and conservation of the world’s dwindling energy resources by providing versatile and accurate flow measurement.

The SFC3000 has always been far more than a dedicated flow computer. It was always intended to be operated at a number of levels from a supervisory machine to a stand-alone flow computer to a component in a much larger system. It can function as a complete station supervisor integrated into a flow computer housing.

Ex~i Flow has continued to evolve this signature product over the years, adding functionality via a range of optional boards and additional software features. Such versatility makes the SFC3000 perfect for gas and liquid flow measurement.

It also means the SFC3000 will continue to be an essential component in the energy solutions of the future, as it can also be used in hydrogen flow measurement.

I/O Digital Stream Board

Applications of this board could be to capture data from specific meters, including turbine/ rotary/ positive displacement meters and density and relative density meters. It offers five digital outputs, including optically isolated Open Collector, 30V max, 10mA Alarm indication, Telemetry or Valve Control. There are two analogue outputs.

I/O Digital 2 Stream Board

Used similarly to the I/O Digital Stream Board but with 3 Pulse Counting/ Frequency measurement inputs, 1 Switch/ Valve Status input, 2 HART transmitter loops, 6 digital outputs, 4 analogue outputs and a serial communication connection.

I/O Analogue Stream Board

Used similarly to the I/O Digital Stream Board but with the following inputs and outputs: 3 Pulse Counting/ Frequency measurement inputs, 2 Switch / Valve Status input, 1 HART transmitter loop, 3 Analogue 4-20mA Inputs, 1 Selectable Analogue 4-20mA Input or Digital Output, 1 Direct PRT (4 wire) Input, 3 Digital Outputs (Output 1 can be used for prover output frequency), 2 Analogue Outputs, 1 Selectable Analogue Output or Digital Output, and 1 Serial Communication connection.

I/O Switch Stream Board

Used similarly to the I/O Digital Stream Board 3 Pulse Counting/ Frequency measurement inputs, 3 Switch / Valve Status inputs, 6 Digital Outputs, 6 Selectable Digital Status Inputs or Digital Outputs and 1 Serial Communication connection.

You can also customise your SFC3000 with a communication board, which is fully user-configurable and programmable. You could instead select the dual network board, which has all the functionality of the communication board, such as web server functions and network to other measurement devices, but it also offers 3 serial communication ports and 2 ethernet ports.
